Pasture cover report

The Pasture cover report shows a graph of pasture cover over time and allows season comparisons. The report can be set up to show either the farm average cover, block average covers or both. 

You can also display a table showing the recorded or calculated average covers for a year or block.

Information
  • The report shows the average covers you have entered for the farm or block or, if you have not entered average covers, the System calculates the weighted average cover from the covers you have recorded.
  • Only Farm walk pasture covers are used in this report. Pre- and Post-grazing pasture covers are not used. 
  • You can edit farm average covers from the graph. This will change the diary record of the farm average cover recorded for that event. This is not available for blocks.

  1. On the Navigation bar, click Report centre.
  2. Click Land.
  3. Find the Pasture cover report and click View.

Change what is displayed in the Pasture cover report

To change the report criteria for the Pasture cover report click here
  To change the report criteria for the Pasture cover report:     
  1. View the Pasture cover report as described above.
  2. Click the filter.
  3. Select report criteria:
    Criteria: Explanation:
    Report by Select to show:
    - Farm average cover 
    - Block average cover.
    • Select the Block group and Block names.
    • You can select to also Show farm average cover.
    Date selection Select whether to split dates by Financial year or Calendar year plus
    Years Select the Years of data you want to show in the report.
    Show seasons Select whether you want the seasons to be shaded on the graph.
  4. Click View to run the report.

  To show the data table for a year or block:     
  1. Under the graph, find the Year/Block that matches the line you want to see the data for.
  2. Click the expansion arrow to show covers recorded for that Year/Block.

Edit average pasture cover from the pasture cover report

You can edit farm average covers from the graph. This will change the diary record of the farm average cover recorded for that event. This is not available for blocks.

To edit average pasture cover from the pasture cover report click here
To edit average pasture cover from the pasture cover report:
  1. View the Pasture cover report as described above.
  2. Hover over the point you want to edit.
  1. Hover your cursor over click to edit and click. 
     
  2. Enter the new average cover.
  3. Click Save.
