Soil tests report

The Soil tests report shows maps of soil characteristics based on soil test results.

You can filter the report so that it includes the characteristic and date range you want. You can print the map and export the report to a spreadsheet or a PDF file.

Regardless of what other nutrients may have been included in your tests, the soil test report only shows the levels for pH, Olsen P, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium and Sulphate Sulphur.

Viewing the Soil tests report

You can open this report from the Farm map, in Layers, or from the Report centre, under Land.

You can also set up a quick link to launch it from the Dashboard.

To view a Soil tests report:

  1. On the Farm map screen, click Layers, then click Map based reports to expand it. 
  2. Click Soil tests.
  3. In the side panel select the:
  1. Click View.

Once you've opened the report, paddocks will be coloured on the map based on whether tested levels for the selected characteristic are optimum, below optimum or above optimum. The levels are also shown as labels on the paddocks.

To change the soil characteristic or the report period, change you selection in the left panel then click View.

  • This will include the labels, and any legend or measurements.

export pasture production information for your paddocks

Export, then select Spreadsheet or PDF and click Export.

  • This includes soil type and areas for the paddocks and the levels of all the characteristics in this report.
