Summary reproduction report

The Summary reproduction report allows you to calculate your reproduction performance by season / season to date and compare it to available benchmark statistics.

The report shows statistics for conception, survival, growth rate and overall reproduction by stock class.

This table shows what statistics are reported in each category:

Dan's elite flock conceived $48/head more lambs than his lowest performing ewes – almost 40% more lambs per ewe.

The report is based on reproduction events you have entered in the System. You can also manually enter information into the report.
Information is entered by dam stock class at mating.
To get results for any stock class all the mating, scanning, marking and weaning data must be entered for that stock class.
Your farm’s performance can be compared to available Farm class and Region benchmarks.

Set up and view a Summary reproduction report

To set up and view a Summary reproduction report:

On the Navigation bar, click Report centre > Reproduction > Summary reproduction.

Click View.

The data entry screen appears.

Select report criteria:

Animals to include - Season of offspring birth and Animal type.

Bench-marking categories – Farm class and Reporting region.

If you have entered reproduction activities into Farm ^IQ this data prepopulates the relevant data fields. This may take some time. Check that the prepopulated fields are correct.

If data is missing you can:

Enter the events using the Health and breeding events and Add stock. This is the preferred method as it creates a permanent record of the activities that can be searched for or used in other reports.
Enter the data directly onto the summary report data entry screen. Click the plus sign to add another row for any stock class.

Click View to see the report.

Click Save to save the report.

Saving the report will save the manual inputs you have entered for the animal type and season. If you wish to change these you have to do so manually and, to keep the changes, save again.
