Weaning report

The Weaning report shows statistics for animals that have been weaned during a selected date range.

To produce a Weaning report showing...

you must have recorded…

Mated quantity adjusted for sales and purchases.

Average weight of dams at mating

Mating events.

Sales and purchases of mated animals.

Potential offspring

Scanning events.

Sales and purchases of scanned animals.

Weaning

Average birth date
Default birth weight
Average weaning date
Average days to weaning
Wean weight
Daily gain
90 day wean weight

Weaning events for offspring retained and offspring sold.

Mob efficiency – Total offspring weight divided by total dam weight at mating

Weaning events including dam information: dam stock class at mating, breed, weight and number of dams at weaning.

Mating events including weights.

Sales and purchases of mated animals.

 

Information
  • Weaning statistics can be displayed by animal type, year of dam birth and dam breed. 
  • Record weaning events for offspring sold prior to weaning so that the Weaning report is accurate.
  • Analysis by birth rank is for EID tagged offspring only and there may be discrepancies in the totals.
  • Default birth weight is set as follows:
    • sheep 4.5kg
    • deer 8kg
    • cattle 35kg

View and export a Weaning report

To view a Weaning report:

  1. On the Navigation bar, click Report centre > Reproduction > Weaning.
  1. Choose a time period by:
  1. Choose whether to Include Dry/Empty results.

  1. If you wish to see the report on screen, click View.
  1. If you wish to export the report, click Export summary  and select Excel document or PDF file.
