You can record animal activities using the options in the Stock menu in the top Navigation bar.
There are help topics with information about the options in each section:
If you keep a stock reconciliation in FarmIQ and record the paddocks that your animals are in, you can select animals from the farm map to record animal activities.
Starting on the map saves time because the selected animals are automatically entered into the activities.
If you have placed your animals in Unassigned stock or if you are recording animal activities by describing stock, you cannot record animal activities from the map. To move animals in Unassigned stock, see Move stock. |
Moves can be recorded from the map for a single mob, or all the mobs of the same animal type, in a paddock. You can move all the animals to another paddock without leaving the map, or start a more complex mob move.
See Move stock for more about how to do this.
On the map, you can select mobs in paddocks then click + Activities to start recording activities against those animals.
See Mobs on the map for more details about this.
