Stock

In Stock you can manage and record stock events, such as purchases, movements, weights and health treatments.

You can then see this information in the Diary and Reports as well as the Stock list and the Stock reconciliation depending on which pack your farm is subscribed to. 

To open the Stock menu, click Stock in the Navigation bar.

Stock information with your pack

FarmIQ Lite has no Stock menu or stock recording.

There are two methods of managing stock information on your farm in FarmIQ. The methods your farm has access to depend on the pack that farm is subscribed to.

• With a stock reconciliation you keep a record of your stock numbers, using mobs for recording activities and reporting on results. 
• When you describe stock you simply note the details of the animals in each event. The system does not track stock numbers, so less reporting is possible.

* If you’ve set up FarmIQ as an information provider for NAIT and use EID files when recording activities, the system will submit information to NAIT for you.
** The system will keep track of your EID numbers from stock you add or remove and, where possible, link tags to stock traits and a mob or grazing location.
